LATEST NEWS

Your U3A Needs You!

Your committee needs a Groups Co-ordinator as soon as possible, and an 'apprentice' Treasurer (to take over next year). Can you spare a few hours each week? If you can help, or need more information, contact Kevin Glover on 01858 682081.

Charity needs Volunteers

Contact the Elderly is a charity that organises monthly Sunday afternoon teas for elderly people who live alone and have become isolated. They need volunteer drivers and hosts. More information in News.

World of Gilbert & Sullivan

This is a new Group led by David Burditt - more information about all our activity groups here.

Building from Basics - Improve your Spanish

A new group led by Liz Watkin, who taught English in Barcelona for nearly 19 years, could start in October if enough people register an interest. A joint leader would be very helpful for backup.  Although time and venue have yet to be finalised, Wednesday or Thursday in the last week of the month are proposed. Contact Liz  by email here.

Forensic Psychology: Witness Investigation

This is another MOOC (massive open online course) from FutureLearn. It's free, an eight-week course requiring no more than three hours a week. For details and to sign up  for the course click here. The course starts on 4 September. Contact Danica Zedan by email here to find out more.
